This Greek yogurt ranch dip recipe is made from scratch, including the seasoning mix! It is quick to make and the perfect treat for anyone who loves their veggies and dips.
Whether you’re having a party or enjoying a movie night in, this is a go-to recipe to make.
There is a lot of fat in this recipe, but Greek yogurt is a healthy fat, so you don’t have to worry about that. As for the mayonnaise and cream, you can use whatever healthier option that you have on hand.
In terms of mayo, there are vegan and keto-friendly versions. They are sometimes found in the “natural” food section of the grocery stores. Health food stores may also carry them, depending on the store.
And did you know that there are vegan creams available as well? I recently came across an almond cream and really liked it for my morning coffee. Almond milk or any other nut milk can work here as well.
And also remember that you’ll be eating this with healthy vegetables! At the same time, if you’re a fan of potato chips, this dip goes great with them too.
I used lemon+ essential oil from Young Living. The + oils are food flavourings and are the only oils that Young Living has that are safe to ingest. Do not use the regular oil because it is too concentrated for ingesting.
1 cup Greek yogurt
½ cup mayonnaise
¼ cup heavy cream, milk or buttermilk
2 tbsp. Dry ranch seasoning
10 drops lemon+ essential oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Mix all ingredients together in a small bowl.
For best results, chill in the fridge for 1-2 hours.
Serve with your favourite vegetables or potato chips.
